Electrical Testing Course

Our training centre is accredited by City and Guilds to train and assess electricians in the techniques and procedures involved in the Verification and Testing of Electrical Installations.

Our courses

Registered electrical contractors and their employees will be entitled to apply for a Qualified Certifier number on successful completion of our courses. This will allow you to test, verify and certify electrical installations. It is our objective to ensure when you finish our course that you can carry out the full range of tests which are set out in Chapter 6 of Irish Standard 10101:2020. 2 Day Course €400 - Deposit €150

We run the City and Guilds Electrical Testing and Verification of Electrical Installations course over two days for electricians who are familiar and experienced in testing.

3 Day Course €700 - Deposit €250

The 3 day City and Guilds Electrical Testing and Verification of Electrical Installations course is geared towards electricians who are beginners in testing or who are less familiar with the techniques involved. 

Course information

The Electrical Testing and Verification course is for electricians working within the electrical industry in Ireland.

To qualify for the course you must:

Have served a recognised  electrical apprenticeship and possess a National Craft Certificate

OR

Other electrical award equivalent to Level 6 or higher on the National Framework of Qualifications

Please note that you must bring evidence of your qualifications on the first day of the course.

Our training centre is equipped with modern multi-function testers. If you would prefer, you can bring your own test equipment to the course together with a current certificate of calibration for the meter.
